  • Update DNS A record IP point to the staging server. Example: dev.ulement.com
  • Create a WordPress in the staging server.
  • Use Migrate Guru to clone the website to the staging server. (I have migrated 18GB of a website with Migrate Guru, it works like a champ!

  • Update DNS A record IP point to the staging server. Example: dev.ulement.com
  • Create a WordPress in the staging server.
  • Use plugin All in One Migration to backup the website.
  • Download the All in One Migration backup
  • Sign in dev.ulement.com & install All in One Migration
  • Import All in One Migration backup
  • Please note that you will need an unlimited extension if your backup file size more than 128MB.
  • After finished the import, sign in again and go to Settings > Permalink and save changes two times.
